Brands Like Free People

Alex Eljam

Free People has always and will forever be known as that go-to boho chic fashion brand. Their pieces will always be fashionable but comfortable, trendy yet stylish, and noticeably FP. However, sometimes we're looking for a little variety outside of the classic We the Free styles. So, look no further with these five other brands like Free People.

Show Me Your Mumu

It's colorful, it's trendy, it's comfortable, and it's everywhere--it's Show Me Your Mumu. The California-based brand blends that boho-chic look with outstanding colors and patterns, giving shoppers the ultimate ready-to-wear looks. They even have a "for the bride" section, now available for the bohemian bridal look.

Anthropologie

There was no way this list would be complete without including Free People's older sister, Anthropologie! For those that don't know, Free People, Anthropologie, and Urban Outfitters are part of Urban Outfitters, INC, aka URBN. Makes sense now, doesn't it? Anthro has a slightly higher price point than FP and is the perfect option for the everyday woman who is looking to embrace her inner bohemian flare through her closet.

DÔEN

And then there's DÔEN. Though a little pricier than some of Free People's basics, this sister-born company embraces the coastal California style through its laidback and flowy styles. Similarly to FP, DÔEN additionally has a range of outerwear that will leave you wanting one of everything-even for a California "winter." This Free People-like brand can be spotted on influencers and fashion girls everywhere. Don't miss out.

Cleobella

Similarly to Free People, Cleobella embraces bold patterns, colors, and easy, timeless pieces. The small family-run business prides itself on sustainable and ethical apparel that is wholeheartedly dedicated to international craftmanship. Winter, spring, summer, or fall, Cleobella has it all.

Lovestitch

Known as "LA's best boho chic brand," Lovestitch gives that quintessential Free People energy without dropping Free People prices. The brand features an entire range of colorful patterned kimonos, all under $104 dollars. So what I'm saying is, run, don't walk to stock your closet immediately. This Free People alternative will have people asking, is the FP?

Final Thoughts

Although I personally am a loyal Free People customer, I’m always on the search for brands that are giving me the same feel I have when I slip on a classic FP henley. And well, from a certified and dedicated Free People shopper, these five brands have truly upped my boho-inspired wardrobe.
